CLAYTON -- Rosewood mustered just 11 second-half points and dropped a 54-40 decision to Nash Central during the inaugural Cleveland Christmas Classic.

The Eagles led 29-18 at halftime.

"We played good in the first half, but poorly in the second," RHS head coach Daniel Mitchell said.

Dennis Mitchell paced the Eagles' offense with 14 points, while Marquail Almontaser recorded eight points.

Rosewood (2-8 overall) returns to action Jan. 3 at Lakewood.
