N. Duplin girls fall to Tigers, Bulldogs

KENANSVILLE -- Christy Debnam led all scorers with 17 points as James Kenan upended North Duplin, 50-12, in the third-place game of the 2013 Duplin County Holiday Tournament played at Kenansville Memorial Auditorium.
Haley Sessoms added 10 points for the Tigers.
Deja Aycock emerged the Rebels' top scorer with four points. Shaily McCarty and Mary Beth Barwick chipped in three points apiece.
Justice Carr pumped in a game-high 21 points as Wallace-Rose Hill defeated North Duplin, 50-15, on Friday. Aycock led the Rebels with five points.
McCarty, Jordan Jones, Caroline Hines, Barwick and Haley Thurston supplied two points apiece.
North Duplin dropped to 0-8 overall this season.
