Massengill records consecutive double-doubles

CLAYTON -- One night after a career-best outing, Savanna Massengill recorded her second consecutive double-double during a 39-26 triumph over Rolesville in the Cleveland Christmas Classic.
Massengill provided 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs, who improved to 4-7 overall. The senior drew all-tournament recognition along with fellow senior Tori Paul, who registered nine points, 10 rebounds and five steals.
Charley Cox added six points.
Massengill torched the nets for a career-high 33 points and hauled down 14 rebounds in Princeton's 60-51, opening-round loss to West Johnston on Friday evening.
Paul provided 14 rebounds and five points. Kelsey Peedin and Jaclyn Farrior chipped in seven and six points, respectively.
Princeton plays host to Hobbton on Jan 3.
