Atkinson scores 24, WCDS slips past Kestrel Heights

Wayne Country Day held off a late rally for a 78-73, non-conference win over Kestrel Heights on Monday night.
Lee Atkinson paced the Chargers with 24 points and six assists. Victor Miller finished with 18 points and Joel Davis added 14.
Wayne Country Day (5-1 overall) visits Wayne Christian today. Tip-off is 6:30 p.m. at Clifford Gymnatorium.
