Rosewood upends Neuse Charter on soccer pitch

Marquail Almontaser notched the eventual game-winning goal as Rosewood squeezed past Neuse Charter, 2-1, in Carolina 1-A Conference play on the Branch Pope Field pitch.
Hayden Amodeo assisted on Almontaser's strike.
Zack Barnes contributed a goal off of Cory Lynn's assist for the Eagles.
Rosewood (9-6-1 overall, 5-5-0) entertains Princeton next Tuesday and concludes regular-season play at home Oct. 23 against Lakewood.
