No. 1-ranked Tigers blitz Panthers on road

BEULAVILLE -- No. 1-ranked James Kenan shut out county foe East Duplin 25-0 on Friday night.
Senior tailback Marcelias Sutton rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers. He had an 8-yard score in the first quarter and an 85-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
Kenan rushed for 281 yards as a team. Defensively, the Tigers recovered three fumbles.
James Kenan (4-0 overall) has a bye week before opening Carolina 1-A Conference play Sept. 27 at home against Princeton.
