State-ranked Warriors earn another ECC tennis shutout

WINTERVILLE -- State-ranked Eastern Wayne remained unbeaten in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play with a 9-0 win on Thursday at South Central.
Faith Sutton, Savannah Sutton, McKenna Dove, Cameron Dove, Debbie Mitchell and Brennan Dove each earned a singles win for the Warriors. The doubles teams of F. Sutton-S. Sutton, M. Dove-C. Dove and Mitchell-B. Dove were also victorious.
The Warriors (9-0 overall, 7-0 ECC) play host to New Bern on Tuesday.
