Rosewood emerges top team at Cardinal CC

SELMA -- Rosewood won a 10-team meet contested at Cardinal Country Club on Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles post a team score of 140 and finished one stroke ahead of Smithfield-Selma. West Johnston was third at 142.
Lindsey Burton led the Eagles with a season-low, nine-hole score of 40. Alana Pipkin also carded a season-low round of 46. Taylor Gales shot 54.
Smithfield-Selma's Haley Talton claimed medalist honors with a 37.
