Chargers drop CPIC volleyball match

GREENVILLE -- Wayne Country Day attempted to rally, but came up short in a 25-20, 25-18, 24-26, 25-19 loss Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A newcomer Pope John Paul II Catholic High School on Thursday afternoon.
Bailee Creger collected 18 digs for the Chargers. Rachel Uzzell recorded 25 assists. Creger, Crooks and Celeste Davis each had seven kills.
