Rosewood spikers turn back Hobbton

HOBBTON -- Rosewood opened Carolina 1-A Conference play with a 25-8, 25-9, 25-11 win at Hobbton on Tuesday evening.
Anna Ingram led the Eagles with 17 assists, two kills and a block. Ellen Morgan supplied eight kills and a service ace. Hayley Mercer added seven assists, five kills, a block and an ace.
Lexi Mercer had five blocks, three kills and an ace.
Rosewood (4-0 overall, 1-0 CC) visits North Johnston today.
