Rosewood linksters share first place in 8-team match

SELMA -- Rosewood and Washington shared first place in an eight-team match at Cardinal Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Both the Eagles and Pam Pack shot a three-player score of 151. Neuse Charter was third at 165 and Rocky Mount (170) finished fourth. Charles B. Aycock and North Johnston each posted a 173.
Princeton and SouthWest Edgecombe did not have enough players to record team scores.
Lindsey Burton led Rosewood with a nine-hole round of 47. The Eagles' Taylor Gales carded a 50 and Alana Pipkin tallied a 54.
Neuse Charter's McKenna Hammer earned medalist honors with a score of 42.
