McKeel, Eagles double up Greene Central

SNOW HILL -- Rosewood held off Greene Central for a 4-2 win in the Eastern Carolina Baseball League opener for both teams on Monday.
Bryce McKeel led the Eagles with two hits. Kahlil Warren (two RBI), Blake Dean (two RBI), Jordan Gurley and Brent Breedlove each had two hits.
Breedlove scattered six hits and surrendered two runs (one earned) with two walks and no strikeouts to record the win on the mound. Nicholas Neal pitched two scoreless innings of relief to pick up the save.
Austin Batchelor (RBI), Austin Mooring (RBI), Chandler Barrow, Kevin Ormand, James Head, Bailey Ormond, Justin Lee and Hunter Murphy all had a hit for the Rams.
Mooring endured the loss on the mound.
