Chargers drop CPIC baseball contest

Wayne Country Day endured a 7-1 loss to Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference foe Freedom Christian on Tuesday afternoon.

John Strickland (RBI) and Mason Bland each had a hit for the Chargers. Cody Neal endured the loss on the mound.

The Chargers (7-11 overall, 1-6 CPIC) visit Greenfield on Friday.
