Greenfield erupts early, defeats Wayne Country Day

Wayne Country Day fell behind 9-0 in the first inning of a 17-2 loss to Coastal Plains Independent 1-A nemesis Greenfield on Tuesday afternoon.

Cody Neal led the Chargers with two hits and an RBI. Wyatt Bland and Jacob Magera each provided a hit.

Wayne Country Day (5-8 overall, 0-4 CPIC) plays host to Epiphany on Thursday.
