* PRINCETON -- Princeton extended its win streak to three games with a 9-0 triumph over Goldsboro in Carolina 1-A Conference play Tuesday evening.
Ronald Woody and Jared Howard each had one hit for the Cougars.
Josh Boykin led the Bulldogs' offense with three hits and an RBI. Brad Barnes contributed two hits and two RBI. Michael Wooten and Jake Sullivan supplied two RBI apiece.
Wooten emerged the winning pitcher, striking out 11 in a six-inning stint.
Princeton (4-9 overall, 2-1 CC) travels to defending conference champion Ayden-Grifton on Friday. Goldsboro entertains future Carolina 1-A Conference member Neuse Charter today.
