La GRANGE -- Meredith Burroughs swatted a home run and finished the night with two hits and four RBI during Charles B. Aycock's 12-0, mercy-rule triumph over Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference foe North Lenoir.
It was Burroughs' second home run of the season.
Cierra Harris (RBI), Reagan Herndon (two RBI), Madison Walton (RBI), Katie Gay (RBI), Taylor Bradshaw (RBI), Keely Fulgham (RBI) and Abbie Walton provided one hit apiece.
Burroughs threw a complete-game two-hitter and fanned three NL batters inside the pitcher's circle. It was Burroughs' second victory in nine mound appearances this season.
C.B. Aycock (7-6 overall, 6-2 ECC) plays host to South Johnston on Friday.
