Eastern Wayne shuts out county foe on tennis courts

Eastern Wayne made short work of Eastern Carolina 3-A and county rival Southern Wayne, 9-0, on Monday afternoon.
Chaz Fitzpatrick, Mitchell Kaspar, Hari Chittilla, Andrew Baker, Sawyer Thompson and Sam Biggs swept the singles courts for the Warriors.
The tandems of Fitzpatrick-Kaspar, Chittilla-Baker and Thompson-Biggs each won in doubles.
Eastern Wayne (7-1 overall, 7-0 ECC) is the guest of county foe Charles B. Aycock on Wednesday.
