JV sports
* Boys' basketball: Goldsboro 75, Spring Creek 21 -- Kisheem Faison and Nashir Bowden each scored 12 points to lead the Goldsboro attack. Josh Wooten added 11 points for Goldsboro.
Middle schools
* Girls' basketball: Norwayne 35, Eastern Wayne 10 --Tanika Powell led the Cobras with 10 points. McKenzie Wheeler added eight points in the win. Dejah Thompson paced Eastern Wayne with six points. Norwayne (15-0 overall) plays host to Brogden on Thursday.
