* Boys' basketball: Goldsboro 75, Rosewood 35 -- Andre Castille and Nashir Bowden each scored 16 points for the Cougars. Eric Bufkin contributed 10 points. Goldsboro visits Spring Creek on Friday.
* Boys' basketball: Eastern Wayne 53, Cleveland 32 -- Dameko Artis led the Warriors with nine points, nine rebounds and three steals. Jeremaih Miller contributed seven points, three rebounds and three steals. Zeke Martin had six points and nine rebounds. Eastern Wayne (13-4 overall, 5-2 ECC) plays host to Southern Waye on Jan. 29.
* Boys' basketball: Triton 65, Southern Wayne 64 -- Xavier Pearsall led the Saints with 24 points and Marquail Roddick added 20 points.
* Girls' basketball: Eastern Wayne 44, Cleveland 19 -- Kerah Rouse paced the Warriors with 15 points. Curyna Chase supplied 11 points and Kristina Musus had eight points.
* Girls' basketball: Wilson Christian 27, Faith Christian 15 -- Andy Strickland led the Conquerors with 11 points.
