Cougars win 3 events at indoor track meet

KENLY -- Goldsboro picked up three first-place finishes at the Carolina/Tri-County 1-A indoor track meet on Wednesday.
James Clyde won the 55-meter dash in 6.58 seconds. Rasheid Mallette took first place in the high jump. On the girls' side, Kaylah James placed first in the 55 meter dash in 7.71 seconds.
Brandon McKinney finished second in the boys' shot put. Jay Cook was second in the 500 meters. The Cougars also took second in the 1,600-meter relay.
