WCDS boys suffer 1st loss of the season

Deshar Thomas emerged the lone player in double figures with 15 points in Wayne Country Day's 81-64, non-conference loss to Trinity Christian of Fayetteville on Tuesday evening.
The Chargers entered the game unbeaten and ranked No. 5 in the latest N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association Class 1-A poll.
Wayne Country Day (5-1 overall) plays host to Fayetteville Christian on Friday.
