Southern Wayne girls rout Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE -- Southern Wayne used stifling defense to take down Jacksonville 48-29 on Tuesday night.
The Saints tallied 20 steals as a team in the win.
Cierra Thompson led the Saints with 14 points and eight steals. Zarra Atkins added nine points and nine assists in the win.
Southern Wayne (1-0 overall) will host Wilson Fike on Nov. 27.
