Offense -- Johnny Frasier, Princeton. Sophomore rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns in second-round playoff victory at North Edgecombe.
Defense -- Michael Melendez, James Kenan. Logged team-leading nine tackles in Tigers' come-from-behind win over Union in second round of NCHSAA 1-AA (large-school) football playoffs.
Special teams -- Karon Alston, Goldsboro High. Returned a kickoff for a touchdown and a punt for a touchdown in the Cougars' season-ending loss at once-beaten Northampton County.
