Princeton's Heflin finishes tied for 24th in 1-A/2-A golf championships

FOXFIRE VILLAGE -- Princeton's Lacynn Heflin shared 24th place individually after final-round play of the 2012 N.C. High School Athletic Association Classes 1-A/2-A women's golf championships Tuesday afternoon.
Heflin carded a second-day 93 and finished with a 36-hole score of 189 on the West Course at the Foxfire Resort and Golf Club.
Rosewood's Lindsey Burton ended up 44th overall and teammate Taylor Gales tied for 53rd.
Nearly 80 golfers competed in the two-day event.
