Princeton earns share of Carolina 1-A volleyball title

Princeton picked up a 25-0, 25-13, 25-8 win on Thursday night at Carolina 1-A Conference foe Goldsboro and assured itself of no less than a tie for the regular-season championship.
Taylor Carroll collected six service aces for the Bulldogs. Amber Hill provided 14 kills and Kasey Edwards added seven kills and two blocks. Savanna Massengill had six kills and Tori Paul contributed four kills.
Brandy Johnson finished with three blocks for the Cougars.
Princeton (9-6 overall, 8-0 CC) entertains Ayden-Grifton on Tuesday, while Goldsboro plays host to Spring Creek.
