JV football: Goldsboro 34, Rosewood 0

Goldsboro quarterback Nashir Bowden accounted for three touchdowns in a 34-0 win over Rosewood on Thursday evening.
Bowden threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns and also had a rushing touchdown. Jordan Woody rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown, while Isiah Core added 32 yards on the ground and a score.
Daktavious Wheeler had four receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown. Erick Bufkin had a 50-yard touchdown catch. Sterling Dodson supplied 10 tackles and Malcolm Davis recorded seven tackles and four assists. Core, Jyreek Bryant and Matthew Simmons each had a fumble recovery.
