Goldsboro falls to Ayden-Grifton in four sets

Goldsboro claimed the opening set, but could not maintain its momentum in a 19-25, 25-9, 25-16, 25-17 loss to visiting Ayden-Grifton on Tuesday.
Brandy Johnson finished with 12 kills and two blocks for the Cougars. Bailee Ellis provided 10 assists and three aces and Alexus Davis turned in a strong floor game.
Goldsboro (2-12 overall, 0-4 CC) visits North Duplin on Thursday.
