Epiphany defeats WCDS in volleyball

Epiphany dealt Wayne Country Day a 23-25, 30-28, 25-13, 25-19 loss in Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference play Tuesday evening.
Rachel Uzzell distributed 28 assists for the Chargers to go with seven digs. Sarah Crooks supplied 12 kills and nine digs. Hannah Pearson contributed 15 kills, five digs, three assists and three aces.
Jessica Zhou had four kills and four digs.
Wayne Country Day (7-5 overall, 0-4 CPIC) plays host to Oakwood on Thursday.
