La GRANGE -- Kinston over-matched and out-ran North Lenoir in a 41-13 victory on Friday night.
One week after being forced to forfeit their only win due to an eligibility issue, the Hawks found the sledding extremely tough against the talented Vikings' defense.
Caleb Baird provided the North Lenoir offense with a pair of field goals from 41 and 31 yards, respectively. Marsharee Troy added a touchdown late in the game to cap the Hawks tally.
Troy led the team with 81 yards on the ground on 13 carries.
North Lenoir (0-3 overall) visits county archrival South Lenoir on Friday.
