Sindelar, Velazquez spear second-half charge for Southern Wayne

Goldsboro could not make an early lead stand up in a 4-2 loss to county rival Southern Wayne on Wednesday night.
Damon Pate and Peterson Innocent each scored in the first half to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead at the break.
Southern Wayne stormed back in the second half when Oscar Sindelar and Victor Valazquez each scored two goals and gave the team the lead.
Goldsboro (0-4-0 overall) visits North Lenoir next Tuesday. Southern Wayne plays host to Triton on Sept. 5.
