Rasheed Malette (Goldsboro) -- Rushed for 100 yards and four touchdowns, and returned an interception 46 yards for another touchdown in victory over Eastern Wayne.
Defense
Sam Melvin (James Kenan) -- Logged seven tackles for the Tigers, who posted their second straight win.
Special teams
Caleb Baird (North Lenoir) -- Booted field goals of 31 and 26 yards, converted his lone PAT and converted a fourth down on a fake punt play in the fourth quarter to exhaust the clock in a 19-6 win over West Montgomery.
