Charles B. Aycock's Savannah Sauls and Southern Wayne's Chad Davis each emerged victorious in two individual events, and seniors from Rosewood and Goldsboro were recognized during the final regular-season swim meet at the Family Y pool.

Sauls touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle (2 minutes, 15.93 seconds) and 100 free (1:04.55). She swam the third leg on the 200 free relay, which placed first; and handled the opening leg on the 200 medley relay, which ended up second.

Sauls continues to compete with a nagging shoulder injury.

Fellow Golden Falcon Alexus Lemasters posted a second-place time of 7:14.40 in the 500 free. Taylor Bradshaw ended up third in the 200 individual medley (IM) in 2:56.01, while Kylie Robertson seized third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:25.5.

Eastern Wayne's Emily Spangler and Lilly Boyette grabbed third overall in the 500 free and 100 backstroke, respectively. The duo, along with Jordan Everett and Tricia Malcolm, registered a second-place finish in the 200 free relay.

The Warriors' quartet of Ashley Ames, Sarah Lapas, Ashleigh Daly and Brianna Applegarth secured runner-up honors in the 400 free relay.

Davis, who has dominated the 200 free and 500 free for most of the season, turned in first-place times in the 50 free (24.19 seconds) and 100 butterfly (1:02.54). Both are "regional consideration marks" established by the N.C. High School Athletic Association.

The Saints' Lonnie Medlin logged top-11 times in the 100 free and 50 free, while freshman Myles Davis ended up sixth in the 500 free.

Goldsboro's foursome of Logan Cole, Timmy Vick, Zach Darden and team captain Steven Morton captured the 200 medley relay in 1:56.34. Darden claimed the 100 free and took runner-up honors in the 200 free. Vick was the runner-up in the 500 free and third in the 100 fly.

Aycock's Devin Hall competed unopposed in the 1-meter diving event for the second consecutive week. The sophomore piled up 310.5 points. Fellow Golden Falcon Austin Walker placed second in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.88) and third in the 200 IM (2:30.87), while Sam Pierce was third in the 100 backstroke (1:18).

The Golden Falcons' Sam Chastain was second in the 100 fly and third in the 100 breaststroke.

Eastern Wayne's Sean O'Connell took third in the 200 free and teammate Henry Joseph placed fourth in the 200 IM. Rosewood's Christian Scheu captured fourth in the 100 back and eighth in the 50 free.

The Cougars' Morton, Kristin Hudleston (captain), Hunter Houtzer, Mikayla Huf and Norman Norris swam their final home meet for the Cougars. Seniors competing for the Eagles were Grecia Morales (captain), Jessica Mitchell (captain), Rachyle McAlduff, Meghan Millard, Morgan Pettigrew, Megan Tyndall and Laura Vinson.
