Goldsboro Heat 54, Washington TEACH Trailblazers 32
* The Goldsboro Heat opened their season wih a 54-31 victory over North Carolinians for Home Education Athletic Conference opponent the Washington Teach Trailblazers on Tuesday night.
Jordan Portela led Goldsboro with 12 points and seven rebounds. Blake Poland supplied 11 points and seven assists. The Heat travel to conference foe Orange Homeschoolers of Caswell County on Friday evening.
