Sam Narron selected to AAA All-Star game

* Former Eastern Wayne High School standout Sam Narron has been selected to the Triple-A All-Star game. Narron, a left-handed pitcher for the Nashville Sounds of the Pacific Coast League, will represent the PCL today in Salt Lake City against the International League.
The game is being televised live at 9 p.m. on the MLB Network.
Narron is 4-3 with a 3.83 earned run average. He has recorded 60 strikeouts with just 24 walks in 101 innings pitched while making 17 starts. Narron is currently fifth in the PCL in ERA.
