Spring Creek 9, Wilson Red 8
* WILSON -- Spring Creek scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning en route to a 9-8 walk-off win over Wilson Red.
Zach Harrell and Chris Nichols each finished with two hits and two RBI. Chad Spurgeon and Ian Ladd each added one hit. Duane Gurganus drew four walks and scored three runs.
Allen Coor pitched a perfect seventh inning to earn the win on the pitcher's mound.
Spring Creek travels to Cleveland on Wednesday.

* Mary Ann Sutton and Cathy Garris seized first low net and low putts, respectively, in first flight competition during an Eastern Ladies League Golf Association meet contested at Willow Springs Country Club.
Betty Jean Gurley won second low net in second flight.
Lou Ellen Flowers claimed first low gross in third flight.
Barbara Hill emerged the game-of-the-week winner during play on the Lane Tree Golf Club links. Novella Zambelli and Linda Watson secured low net and low putts, respectively.
