Boys' basketball
Faith Christian 57,
Calvary 49, OT
* Faith Christian held off Calvary for a 57-49, non-conference victory in overtime on Thursday night.
Wes Caudle led the Conquerors with 21 points. Silas Dengliner finished with 15 points and Connor Anderson had eight.
Faith Christian travels to N.C. Christian Schools Association Coastal 2-A foe Falls Road tonight.
Girls' basketball
Faith Christian 45, Calvary 12
* Brianna Champion scored 10 points to lead Faith Christian to a 45-12 rout of visiting Calvary on Thursday night.
Champion also recorded four rebounds, four steals and three assists. Elizabethe Weeks contributed nine points and five rebounds. Charity Spencer had six points.
The Conquerors (9-9 overall) visit NCCSA Coastal 2-A opponent Falls Road tonight.
Middle schools
* Boys' basketball: Wayne Christian 29, Oakwood 27 --Bryce Norman led the Eagles with 11 points. Wayne Chrisitian (7-7) begins Carolina Christian 1-A Conference tournament play on Monday.
