Greene Central and James Kenan started league play two weeks ago.
Reigning Carolina champion Goldsboro (3-3 overall) plays host to North Duplin, which is riding a modest two-game win streak. Two of the area's top 10 rushers -- the Cougars' Andre Montgomery and the Rebels' Devin Oliver -- will lead their respective offensive attacks.
Goldsboro has won nine straight conference games since 2008, when it competed in the Eastern Plains 2-A league.
Rosewood (2-4) plays host to Ayden-Grifton at Branch Pope Field. Logan Waters continues to lead the Eagles' ground assault with 420 yards and two touchdowns in six games.
Princeton (2-4) and Spring Creek (0-6) gather for the 10th installment in their series in Seven Springs. The Gators hold a 6-3 edge, but the Dawgs have won the last three meetings.
Eastern Wayne, which has a county-best 4-2 worksheet, kicks off its ECC season at defending conference champion South Johnston. The Warriors will put a three-game win streak on the line.
Charles B. Aycock (2-4) plays host to ECC opponent North Lenoir (1-5). The Golden Falcons have dropped three of their last four contests, and are 0-2 at Hardy Talton Stadium this season.
Southern Wayne (2-4) hopes to carry the momentum of its final non-conference game, a 10-point victory over Goldsboro, into its road contest against ECC member Triton. The Hawks are one of three teams who finished the non-conference portion of their schedule 4-2 overall this season.
James Kenan (2-4) looks to snap a four-game skid when Heide Trask pays a visit to Bill Taylor Field in Warsaw. The Tigers are 0-2 against Tri-County opposition this fall.
Greene Central (3-4) welcomes defending 2-A state champion Tarboro, which is the lone unbeaten team in the EPC. The Vikings have outscored their opposition 218-67 this season.
All games kick off at 7:30 p.m.
