SNOW HILL -- Jeff Davis and Hunter Jones each swatted a home run, and Charles B. Aycock hammered Snow Hill 11-1 in a Junior American Legion baseball game.
Tyler Farmer doubled and collected two RBI in a 2-for-3 effort. Adam Pate batted 1-for-2 with two RBI and scored two runs. Cameron Taylor contributed one hit and an RBI.
Bryant Stafford and Aaron Champion combined for a five-hitter in the mercy rule-shortened affair. Stafford recorded five punchouts and allowed two hits in a three-inning stint. Champion supplied two innings of three-hit, two-strikeout relief.
Aycock (3-0 overall) returns to action June 9 at Hunt.
