Charles B. Aycock used a strong second half rally to finish off Rosewood 70-51 in a non-conference, varsity boys' basketball game Monday evening.
The Golden Falcons scored 45 points after the intermission as their offense caught fire behind point guard Isaac Ryals. Dontay Gills led the victors with 16 points. Ryals added 13 and Brandon Winford finished with 12 points.
Cody Harris paced Rosewood with 13 points, while teammate Jacquez Raynor added 11 points.
C.B. Aycock (10-1 overall) travels to Northern Nash today. Rosewood (4-8) entertains Arendell-Parrott Academy on Wednesday.

Golden Falcons roll
Charles B. Aycock rushed out to a double-digit lead in the opening minutes and never looked back in a 43-18, non-conference victory over county rival Rosewood on Monday evening.
The Golden Falcons led 25-8 at the intermission.
Imari Howell paced the C.B. Aycock offense with 18 points. Courtney Sheeks added 15 points.
