Junior Legion: Farmer cranks out three extra-base hits for Aycock

SNOW HILL -- Tyler Farmer doubled twice and tripled as Charles B. Aycock thrashed Snow Hill 22-2 in a five-inning, Junior American Legion Baseball game Tuesday evening.
Farmer finished with three hits in four at-bats.
Jordan Quinn, Tyler, Jeff Carmel and Adam Pate collected two hits apiece in the mercy-rule affair. Jon Tayler contributed a double in two official plate appearances.
Quinn emerged the winning pitcher, scattering five hits and logging five strikeouts. He allowed two runs (one earned) in the complete-game performance.
Aycock (15-2 overall) entertains county foe Wayne County South today. First pitch is 7 p.m.
