Mother Nature pitches shutout at Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE -- Mother Nature gets the shutout.
Saturday morning rain washed out the Mount Olive-St. Andrews baseball doubleheader scheduled on the Scarborough Field diamond. Weather permitting, the Conference Carolinas in-state rivals will play a twinbill today.
First pitch is 1 p.m.
Mount Olive, ranked No. 15 in the latest Ping! Baseball top 30 poll, has won eight consecutive contests against St. Andrews and 21 of 29 meetings overall in the series since 2002.
The Knights haven't beaten the Trojans since 2006.
