SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Scott Woodard is tied for sixth overall after second-round action in the AASU Southbridge Pirates Men's Golf Invitational, which concludes today.
Woodard fired an opening-round 1-over par 73 and finished 36 holes with a 3-over par 144. Teammate Pete Skirpstas notched back-to-back 74s and is tied for 10th among 65 golfers competing in the 52-hole event.
Jonathan Greene is tied for 34th at 155, which includes a 73 in second-round play. Frabrizio Ceppi is tied for 56th, while former Charles B. Aycock standout Ryan Campbell is 59th.
Mount Olive finished opening-day play with a 613. The Trojans' 301 was the fifth-lowest score in the second round.
Valdosta State leads the Invitational with a 587.
