Eastern Wayne boys fall to South Central

Eastern Wayne jumped out to an early lead but could not hold off a late charge as they fell to South Central by a 76-68 final.
Cody Kirland paced the Warrior effort with 20 points. Jeniri Cyrus added 17 points and six rebounds while teammate Will White chipped in 12 markers and five boards.
Eastern Wayne will host Goldsboro on Wednesday.

Girls' Basketball: Wayne Christian d. Cape Fear Christian 34-22 -- Katie Isenhower and Niki Fitzmorris each pulled down 15 rebounds as Wayne Christian topped Cape Fear on Wednesday. Brooke Barfield led the Eagles with ten points and also collected six steals.
