NEW BERN -- Bridgette Briggs scored a game-high 18 points to lead Wayne Country Day to a 70-15 victory at future Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference member Epiphany on Thursday.
Shelle Anderson added 16 points and Brooke Norris ta;llied 15.
The Chargers (2-0 overall) play host to Cresset Christian on Tuesday.

NEW BERN -- Wayne Country Day improved to 2-0 behind 16 points and six assists from Hil Tanner in a 87-29, non-conference win over Ephiphany on Thursday.
Matt Davis also scored 16 points. Brandon McCarter finished with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Jordan Perry turned in 11 points and eight boards.
Stoan Stewart provided 10 points and 10 rebounds. Douglas Williams had nine points.
The Chargers face Mount Tabor at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Lawrence Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem.
