WARSAW -- James Kenan defeated Goldsboro 25-12, 20-25, 25-23, 25-17 on Thursday.
Natalya Dungee recorded four of the Cougars' 10 service aces. Millicent Kornegay tallied three kills and Tiffany Pearsall had three blocks.
Goldsboro (0-3 overall) entertains Kinston on Tuesday.
