PRINCETON -- South Johnston deal Princeton a 55-7 setback on Friday evening.
The Bulldawgs were plagued by early turnovers and trailed 27-0 after one quarter.
"I don't know if we were shocked at playing them in the beginning or what," Princeton head coach Russell Williamson said. "We had a bad punt and a fumble and they had a short field on us there early. We made some mistakes in the first quarter and I don't know if we were nervous or didn't know who we were playing."
Benton Myers scored the Bulldawgs (0-1) only touchdown of the game on a 2-yard run late in the third quarter.
Princeton travels to North Moore next Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
