North Lenoir tops South Lenoir

KINSTON -- Gray Phillips scored two goals, as North Lenoir beat South Lenoir 4-1 in the consolation game of the inaugural Parrot Invitational soccer tournament on Thursday.
Ryan Kramer and Patrick Sasser each added a goal in the win.
Phillips, Mike Wetherington and Lane Sampley were named to the all tournament team.
North Lenoir (2-1 overall) will be back in action when they travel to Charles B. Aycock on Monday.
