GREENVILLE -- Junior Jasmine Reeves earned medalist honors with an 18-hole round of 81 in Eastern Wayne's season-opening, women's golf match Tuesday afternoon.
However, J.H. Rose handed the Warriors a 272-331 loss on the Greenville Country Club links.
Sophomore Hannah Grantham complemented Reeves' effort with a 114. Freshmen Sydney Stocks and Emily Deal recorded rounds of 136 and 140, respectively.
"Both freshmen will improve with match experience," said Eastern Wayne head coach Scott Waller. "This was their first match ever."
