Kinston loses third straight

Kinston's losing streak reached three games with a 2-0 loss against Carolina League rival Wilmington at historic Grainger Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Cody Strait's solo home run and Anthony Seratelli's two-out, RBI double accounted for the Blue Rocks' sixth-inning runs.
Wilmington starter Mario Santiago held Kinston scoreless through six-plus innings and Tyler Chambliss earned his second save of the season. Jared Goedert emerged Kinston's offensive leader with two hits.
