K-Tribe's Deter throws shutout

Jim Deters threw a complete-game shutout as Kinston defeated Wilmington 2-0 in game two of a doubleheader Thursday evening.
The Blue Rocks took the opener 6-5 in completion of a suspended game from Wednesday due to rain.
Deters permitted three hits in his third spot start of the season.
Nick Weglarz broke a scoreless tie with a sixth-inning, RBI single. The K-Tribe (29-30 overall) added an unearned run in the seventh inning.
